We are pleased to inform you that the journal will waive the Article Publishing Charge untill 22nd November, 2024.
This will be applicable for any submissions received before 22nd November, 2024, which are accepted for publication after peer review.
Aims and Scope
Psychological Disorders and Research (PDR) journal is a peer-reviewed medical journal that makes significant contributions to the major areas of psychology & wellbeing and it is one of the best open access journals that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in the field and provide online access to the researchers worldwide without any restrictions or subscriptions.
Psychological Disorders and Research is an academic and applied science that studies mental functions and behaviors. Psychotherapy offers solutions to individuals suffering from psychological disorders.
The journal’s Editorial Board is composed of international experts from the related field who have committed to seeking out excellent work from a range of sources and theoretical perspectives and also to publish high-quality, thought-provoking work that will have a direct impact on clinical practice & scientific society. The journal publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research & other scholarly articles which add new knowledge to the field and has the potential to improve the lives of those affected by mental health problems.

Dr. Zhang is an Associate professor in Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He has been taking comprehensive studies in cognition, biomarkers including oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, neurotropins, neuro-electrophysiology and neuroimaging, genetics and clinical psychopharmacology in schizophrenia and drug dependence/addiction research. He is an invited reviewer for over 40 peer-reviewed journals and on the editorial board for 5 journals, with more than 250 published articles in the international journals.

Yeswant Singh Vagrecha is a professor (clinical, counseling and health psychology) at the school of psychology, Addis Ababa University Ethiopia since year 2010. Prior to that Prof. Vagrecha worked on various teaching positions at Universities of Jodhpur, Gujarat and Sagar (all in India) and at Adama university (Ethiopia). At Sagar University he served for the longest period of 23 years and during his last tenure of eight years he worked as Professor of Clinical Psychology, Chair, Department of Psychology, Director, B.S Centre of Neuro Psychology and Counseling, Dean(S) Faculty of Social Sciences and of Education. As a young professional during his initial carrier he worked as Psychologist/ Clinical Psychologist at Mental Health Institution (S) And Rehabilitation Centre (S). He obtained his master’s degree in psychology from Jodhpur University, Clinical Psychology Training at Hospital for Mental Diseases, Ranchi University and Ph.D degree from MS University Baroda (All in India).

Biography
Richa Hanamsagar Bachelor’s in Pharmacy at the University of Pune, India in 2008. Soon after, she moved to the United States for my PhD in Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. Here, she studied the role on inflammasome in microglia during Staphylococcus aureus-induced central nervous system infections under the expert guidance of Dr. Tammy Kielian. After graduating from UNMC in 2013, I joined the laboratory of Dr. Staci Bilbo as a post-doctoral researcher, where she continues to study the role of microglia in the context of sex differences during CNS development and its relevance to neurodevelopmental disorders. she is interested in studying the role of early life immune challenge on development of psychiatric disorders later in life such as depression, anxiety and learning disabilities as well as autism. she is also interested in elucidating the molecular pathways involved in microglial control of neuronal activity such as synaptic pruning and how this may be different between sexes.

She developed various initiatives of law, achieving the Mexican government had assumed and considered as the Edict of Law to protect infants from child abuse and abandonment. Pedagogue by profession, other studies in criminal psychology, and investigative journalism. Member of the National of Health Secretariat Commission for Child abused. Guest Member and founder of “Children Research” at the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas. Autonomous University of Mexico . Author of two books, six documentary, five scientific publications.

Dr. Katzman is the Clinic Director and Staff Psychiatrist at the START Clinic (Stress, Trauma, Anxiety Rehabilitation and Treatment) for Mood and Anxiety Disorders. He is also a faculty member at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (Laurentian University and Lakehead University) as well as in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is also appointed in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University and is a member of the Faculty of Psychology at Adler School of Professional Studies. Dr. Katzman was trained at the University of Toronto, first undertaking his B.Sc. in Psychology and Neuroscience, and subsequently his medical training and residency. Dr. Katzman’s clinical work deals chiefly with the diagnosis and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, and recently has expanded to work with adults suffering from Attention Deficit Disorders as well as those suffering from chronic pain disorders.

Publication Charges
Psychological Disorders and Research is an Open Access journal and we do not charge the end user when accessing a manuscript or any article. This allows the scientific community to view, download, distribution of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited, under the term of "Creative Commons Attribution License".
In line with other open access journals we provide a flat fee submission structure on the acceptance of a peer-reviewed article which covers in part the entirety of the publication pathway (the article processing charge). The process includes our maintenance, submission and peer review systems and international editing, publication and submission to global indexing and tracking organisations and archiving to allow instant access to the whole article and associated supplementary documents. We also have to ensure enough investment to secure a sustainable model which ethically, legally and financially stable.
The publication charges for Psychological Disorders and Research are £ (GBP) 1099.

Why do we charge?
All articles published in Science Repository are open access. Open Access publishing implies that all readers, anywhere in the world, are allowed unrestricted to full text of articles, immediately on publication in Science Repository Journals. The Article Publication Charges pay for the editorial and production costs of the journal, for hosting the website, publishing articles online, preparing HTML , PDF and XML versions of the articles and submitting the articles in electronic citation database like CrossRef.
Our financial goals are to:
- Maintain the portal for best experienece
- Recover capitalization cost
- Produce sufficient revenue to allow for a sustainable and scalable publishing program, under continuous development
- Although we charge the minimum possible but we will reduce the publication-charge cost downward over time.
When should I pay?
Corresponding author or the paying institutions should arrange for the payment once they are notified regarding acceptance of the article. APC is exempted for cases in which a wavier agreement has been made in-prior to submission.
*We request an immediate attention towards the payment as the articles will not be published unless the charges have been paid.
Who will pay the APC (Article Processing Charges)?
Corresponding author or Co-authors has to make the payment on acceptance of the article.
How do I pay?
Authors or institutions can make payments by two modes as per their convenience.

Note: No taxes are included in this charge, taxes will be applicable as per the policies of the country of the payee. Additional transaction gateway charges may be levied on the payee.
Do I have to pay if my manuscript is rejected?
No, Article processing charges will not be applicable for articles rejected by the Editorial office.
Can I be eligible for wavier on APC?
The waiver request will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and will be provided accordingly.
*The Waiver requests must be made during the submission process and will not be accepted after processing of the manuscript.

No, Article processing charges (APCs) do not include the charges for the reprints. Reprints facility is optional and should be order separately.
