Purpose and Significance of Study: This is a review of the cases of primary mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the breast, a rare occurrence, in the existing literature.

 

Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the journal Clinical Oncology and Research.

 

o   The manuscript has a few minor errors (already corrected in the galley proof), which are listed below –

 

Some common errors are –

·       Usage of wrong articles, e.g., using “an” instead of “a” before “US guided” in the last sentence of the 1st paragraph of Case Presentation under Materials and Methods, using “a” instead of “an” before “SLNB” in the last sentence of the 6th paragraph of Discussion, and so on.

·       Words like “preoperative”, “postoperative” and “neoadjuvant” must be written without hyphens.

·       Words like “fine-needle” and “low-grade” must be hyphenated.

·       Omission of “,”, e.g., after “body” in the 2nd sentence of the 2nd paragraph of the Introduction, after “tumours” in the 1st sentence of the 3rd paragraph of the Introduction, and so on.

  In the 1st paragraph –

·       In the 1st sentence, “breasts” before “lesions” must be replaced with “breast”.

  In the 4th paragraph –

·       In the 1st sentence, “previous” must be replaced with “previously”.

In the Materials and Methods –

  Under Literature Review –

  In the 2nd paragraph –

·       In the last sentence, “in” before “the right side” must be replaced with “on”.

  In the 4th paragraph –

·       In the 2nd sentence, “that” after “cases” must be replaced with “for which”.

  In the 7th paragraph –

·       In the 2nd sentence, “of” after “reason” must be replaced with “for”, and “80y” must be replaced with “80 years”.

  In the 9th paragraph –

·       In the 2nd sentence, “quadrectomy” must be replaced with “quadrantectomy”.

In the Discussion –

  In the 2nd paragraph –

·       In the 1st sentence, “extent” must be replaced with “extended”.

  In the 4th paragraph –

·       In the 5th sentence, “cystic like” must be replaced with “cyst like”.
