·       In the 2nd last statement of the 1st paragraph of Introduction, “10cm of more” should be corrected to “10 cm or more”.

The Discussion section explains the challenges in treating the patient in the present case clearly. It also offers useful suggestions with respect to the treatment regimen. It discusses about the multiple advantages offered by the laparoscopic approach such as shorter hospital stay, less post-operative pain, less complications and faster resumption of bowel activity. The study Concludes surgery to be the mainstay of curative treatment of symptomatic or large hemangiomas.

Further comments on the paper

Comments: This case report and review of the literature presents a case of a 50-year-old male presenting with a history of 1 month duration of epigastric pain and 5 kilograms of weight loss diagnosed on imaging studies with gastric hemangioma and partial portal vein thrombosis. The study is of significance as hepatic cavernous hemangiomas are the most common benign tumors of the liver whereas, gastric hemangioma is a very rare entity. Further, laparoscopic approach was adopted to deal with the patient’s condition.
