Comments:
The study is well designed and executed. The Methods and Results are adequately described. The Discussion offers a thorough and detailed analysis of the findings of the present study taking all the relevant literature into account. The study is well supported with briefly explained table. The study aptly recommends a scrupulous clinical examination, as well as hormonal, imaging, genetic and molecular investigation for a correct diagnosis since actual management and decision on gender assigning and treatment is challenging and debatable. The Conclusions are consistent with the evidences presented in this article.

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This retrospective study evaluates the clinical presentation, phenotype, gonadal features, gender assignment and medical management on patients diagnosed with ovotesticular development sex disorders (DSD). This study holds significance as this condition is quite rare and unexplored. Only few studies in the literature address this issue. The retrospective nature of the study, small number of cases, all patients not being investigated for the presence of the SRY gene or other genetic alterations associated with ovotesticular DSD and onset of puberty due to lack of prospective follow-up come out as some of the limitations of the study.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
