Comments:
This case series aims to describe the effect of conventional speech therapy with and without photobiomodulation (PBM) to aid in the rehabilitation of radio-induced trismus. The Introduction lays down the basics for taking up the present study. The study is well supported with briefly explained figure and tables. The Discussion puts forth the rationale for taking up the study, effectively describes the relevant literature and enlists the implications of the findings from the present study in that context. The intervention protocol proposed in this case series was tolerated by the participants with no expression of unwanted side effects or discomfort. This study observed a reduction in pain levels in all cases, but more markedly in those submitted to the association of exercises with low-frequency LASER. The series aptly recommends future studies including a larger sample in a Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT).

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case series and review of the literature intends to generate rehabilitation studies on the effects of a speech therapy rehabilitation program, designed for previously compromised patients, in relation to studies of functional gains and an intervention period. It is necessary to analyze its use as a complementary resource to the speech therapy rehabilitation of cancer patients who have changed in the stomatological system.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
