Comments: This case report investigates a case of a 41-year-old male patient presented with emergency pericardial tamponade and abdominal knife stab wound. This case shows that a half-sitting posture of the patient could help to drain the blood in the pericardium to the abdominal cavity and alleviate the symptoms of pericardial tamponade. It focuses on the significance of surgical interventions to diagnose and treat abdominal organ injuries and pericardial hemorrhage.
