Comments:
The Discussion section summarizes from the results of the study that telemonitoring makes early hospital discharge possible, reduces the hospital stay and use of protective materials and healthcare costs, increasing available beds for other patients. The thorough analysis of the study leads to the conclusion that although new studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of these digital health tools in situations such as this COVID-19 pandemic, this has undoubtedly helped both health personnel and the population to be better prepared for the next digital age.

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This prospective observational study evaluates the efficacy of outpatient remote monitoring after hospital discharge by COVID-19, by measuring oxygen saturation, symptoms and quality of life, and the detection and management of alerts by the medical team through video consultation. This monitoring strategy and rapid alert management gives the user a sense of control and security in uncertain days, reducing the use of other healthcare resources. The fact that the study is conducted in a single hospital and without a control group comes under the limitations of the study. Also, the alarm situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and confinement undoubtedly influenced the high adherence to the program, and therefore these results cannot be extrapolated to the monitoring of other diseases.
