Purpose and Significance of Study: This report offers the details of an extremely rare case, that of a giant primary pleuropulmonary synovial sarcoma.

Fit with Scope of Journal: The manuscript is of very high interest for the Journal of Surgical Oncology.

The case description is adequate. The Discussion provides an apt analysis of the various important aspects of cases like the present one, namely imaging, pathology, genetic analysis, and prognosis.

 

o   The manuscript is mostly well-written. A few minor errors (already corrected in the galley proof) are listed below –

 

·       In the 2^nd and 4^th sentences of the last paragraph of the Case Report, “gemcytobine” must be replaced with “gemcitabine”.

·       In the last sentence of the 1^st paragraph of the Discussion, “is” after “differential diagnosis” must be replaced with “which involves”.

·       In the 4^th sentence of the Conclusion, “of” must be replaced with “on the”.

·       In the 4^th sentence of the Abstract, “,” before “however” must be replaced with “;”.
