Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Very good
Comments:
The Discussion offers a detailed analysis of the few other related cases in the literature and explores the probable pathophysiology of the present case. It also mentions that COVID-19 infection cannot be absolutely ruled out as no additional PCR was done. The authors infer that although further case reports are necessary to determine the exact pathophysiology, this rare case deserves to be documented.

Comments: A few minor issues were noted:
· In the 3rd sentence of the 4th paragraph of Case report, “Sugarbaker” was misspelled.
· In the 1st sentence of the 9th paragraph, “by antibiotics” must be replaced with “with antibiotics”.
· In the 1st sentence of the 10th paragraph of Case report, “C” must be inserted after “38°”.
· Commas were missing in several places, e.g., before “was referred” in the 1st sentence of the 1st paragraph of Case report, after “performed” in the 2nd paragraph and the 2nd sentence of the 3rd paragraph of Case report, and so on.
· Articles (a, an, and the) were overused or underused in some places, e.g., “a” before “pneumothorax” in the last sentence of the Abstract and “a” before “malformation” in the 3rd sentence of the 2nd paragraph must be removed, “the” must be inserted before “left ureteral meatus” in the last sentence of the 5th paragraph of Case report, and so on.
Further comments on the paper
Comments: This is a case report demonstrating that an association of pneumothorax after a colon perforation with pneumoperitoneum following ovarian cancer interval surgery can exist even in the absence of a visible diaphragmatic or mediastinum defect. This is significant as till date, only a few case reports have been published describing the association of pneumothorax with pneumoperitoneum. However, further case reports are necessary to determine the exact pathophysiology.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
A: Yes - Suitable to be published
If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
