Comments:
This study offers the details of Pilomatrixoma, the diagnosis of which is clinical and histological. The Conclusion section briefly states about the role of ultrasound in validating the clinical diagnosis, excluding pathologies with similar clinical presentations, and establishing the relationship of the lesion with the surrounding structures. The prognosis after surgical removal is found to be excellent, but in some cases, the reports show a very low recurrence rate. Patients and their families should be aware that any new lesions must be appropriately evaluated.

Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case study and review of literature describes the case of a rare benign subcutaneous tumor of adnexal origin, pilomatrixoma, in a 60-year-old patient. The diagnosis of pilomatrixoma is often difficult to make clinically, and therefore can only be definitively established after histopathological examination of the lesion after surgical removal. The clinical case described here explains the feasibility and safety of the surgical procedure.
