Comments: There are few errors found in the manuscript which are as follows:
· In Abstract, 1st sentence, “A 78-year-old male presented to the emergency room for a 5-day history of vomiting” must be written as “A 78-year-old male presented to the emergency room with a 5-day history of vomiting”.
· In Case Presentation, 2nd paragraph, 1st sentence, “an abdominal ultrasound scan demonstrated gross fecal loading and none collection of fluid in the pouch of Douglas” must be “an abdominal ultrasound scan demonstrated gross fecal loading and no collection of fluid in the pouch of Douglas”.
· In Discussion, 1st paragraph, 4th sentence, “More cases in literature support that foreign bodies had passed to the distal ileum” rewritten as “More cases in literature support that foreign bodies can pass to the distal ileum. In 5th sentence, “others finally were operated on because of bowel obstruction due to a large or toxic foreign body” must be “others finally can be operated on because of bowel obstruction due to a large or toxic foreign body”.
Further comments on the paper
Comments: This report presents a 78-year-old male, with a history of inoperable prostate cancer and dementia, with bilious vomiting for 5 days followed by pervasive abdominal pain and altered bowel habits. Further examinations revealed bowel obstruction associated with the presence of plastic water bottle cap in the ileum. This report also suggests a careful thorough investigations for better diagnosis.
