Q: Is the topic relevant to the journal area of interest? Is it contemporary and interesting for
researchers?
A: Good
Abstract & Keywords
Q: Are all required components included in the abstract? Are the keywords appropriately chosen?
A: Good
Goal
Q: Is the goal explicitly stated in the Introduction? Is its formulation clear and unambiguous?
A: Good

Tools and Methods
Q: Are methods the author uses adequate and well used?
A: Good
Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Good
Comments: The Discussion explains the chemical composition of sialolith that is detectable by various radiographic examinations providing relevant literature. This further discuss the probabilities of the occurrence of the sialolith. The Conclusion finally identifies the origin of the formation of the sialolith in this case.

Comments: Some errors found in the manuscript are as follows:
· In Abstract, 1st sentence, “Sialolithiasis or “salivary lithiasis” is a pathological condition that involves the formation calcified concrements” must be “Sialolithiasis or "salivary lithiasis" is a pathological condition that involves the formation of calcified concrements”.
· In Discussion, 8th paragraph, 4th sentence, “the nidus grow by successively layer of alternate organic and inorganic material” must be “the nidus grow by successive layers of alternate organic and inorganic material”.
Further comments on the paper
Comments: This case report evaluates the biochemical composition and the surface morphology of a sialolith using energy dispersion X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It further provides the overall pathology of sialolithiasis. This case mainly presents a 50-year-old man who showed a radio-opaque mass in the right body of the mandible. Later with various examinations, the lesion revealed the occurrence of sialolithiasis. Further, it illustrates the treatment for sialolithiasis.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
A: Yes - Suitable to be published
If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
