Discussion & Conclusion
Q: Is it related to the results presented before? Do you consider them as coherent?
A: Good
Comments: The Discussion highlights that among several trace elements, selenium is considered the possible cause of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) after metabolic surgery providing relevant literature. It further provides the treatment procedure for selenium deficiency. Lastly, the Discussion concludes by stating that early diagnosis is crucial in cardiomyopathy associated with selenium deficiency due to its reversible nature and may result in complete clinical recovery.

· In the section of Case, 16th sentence, “The patient… disease or other organ failure suggestive for hereditary metabolic disorders” should be “The patient… disease or other organ failures suggestive of hereditary metabolic disorders”.
· Spelling errors of the words such as “unpapropriate”, “decompansated”, “replation”, “cupper”, “adequite”, “Recomended”, “nutiritional” have been corrected as “inappropriate”, “decompensated”, “repletion”, “copper”, “adequate”, “Recommended”, “nutritional”.
Further comments on the paper
Comments: The Case Report presents a 27-year-old woman with signs of heart failure and a history of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in surgical treatment of obesity. The manuscript further illustrated the rarity and importance of the early diagnosis of dilated cardiomyopathy due to selenium deficiencies followed by bariatric surgery.
Q: Would you recommend this manuscript for further publication?
A: Yes - Suitable to be published
If you have any questions and clarifications you can write to the journal.
